The prompt I used to book 2 meetings in 48 hours 🥶

^ Me recording a video for you

We helped our newest client book 2 meetings in 48 hours.

We used a very simple framework that we plugged into Chat-Gpt to get this kind of result.

By the end of this email, you should be able to do the same for your employer or client.

Let’s take the cold plunge shall we? 🥶

Chapter 1: What you need 🥶

In order to implement this framework you need the following information:

  1. Company description: {x}

  2. Buying trigger: {x}

  3. Case study: {x}

  4. What is top of mind {x}

  5. Job title: {x}

  6. First name: {x}

  7. The pain point: {x}

The time you need to spend most on is input 2.

What is the buying trigger? How confident are you that this is a good buying trigger?

Can’t stress enough how important this is.

Chapter 2: The framework

Hey , I saw that , I imagine that you’re Typically focus on , but + mention our value add briefly. worth a chat?

Chapter 3: Don’t forget the guidelines

We always add a set of guidelines in the prompt to ensure that Chat-GPT doesn’t say cringy shit in the email lol.

The way we come up with guidelines is by reading the outputs that GPT generates.

I’ve noticed that we have to change the guidelines every 2 weeks or so. My best guess is that the Open AI team is making changes in the back end that is making GPT behave slightly differently.

Here are the guidelines (for now lol) :

  • Make sure the level of english used in the email is of grade 9 ( that means avoid using complicated words)

  • Use anecdotes

  • For the last sentence, use any of the following call to actions, “Is this worth a chat?” or “ Interested?” or “is this worth exploring?” or “Is this something that’s top of mind for you now?” Avoid asking the prospect for a call or a meeting.

  • Avoid saying anything like I hope this email finds you well or other useless pleasantries.

  • Keep the email under 110 words.

  • When you mention our company, avoid introducing us by saying “enter ”.

  • Avoid using the following words: “slashed”, “Grapevine”, “steps in”,

  • Make sure you start a new paragraph every time you finish a sentence.

  • End the email with the Call to action, do not add anything like “best john” “sincerely Xavier” or anything like that.

  • Don’t use adverbs

  • Don’t write subject lines -When referring to the prospect's company name, always use

  • Never include a signature for the email -If the title is "Chief Executive Officer" or any other C-level exec title, always shorten it to its abbreviation. -If the title has the word "officer" or "founder" in it, use "the" instead of "a"

PS: Clean company name is the output generated from a formula we use to simplify a company name. If we scrape the info of a company and the name is “bla bla bla INC” then we don’t want our copy to mention “inc”. Make sense?

Chapter 4: The Full prompt

🤖 I am the founder of . I am reaching out to who . My goal with my cold email is to mention that observation.

Write me 1 cold email, and with my various inputs, the inputs are :

  1. Company description: {x}

  2. Buying trigger: {x}

  3. Case study: {x}

  4. What is top of mind {x}

  5. Job title: {x}

  6. First name: {x}

  7. The pain point: {x}

Follow this framework:

Takeaways

  • Chatgpt outputs have been… weird lately. This new prompt/framework has improved our outputs and conversion rate.

  • Find a framework that you like and create a prompt from it.

  • The real hero in this email isn’t the prompt, it’s actually the data we scrape and our conviction that it’s the RIGHT data.

  • TEST-TEST-TEST. Don’t just take my word for it, please go out there and try this out!
